“Last weekend my wife, son and future daughter in law set out for a fun filled week of fun in the sun in Florida. We left our beloved companions Sasha and Homar with Always Happy Tails. Brook Dollison visited our home the first two days as expected. However, on the third day I received a call from Brook regarding our 9 month old boxer, Homar. He apparently ingested a sock that he found that was left laying on the floor and swallowed it. When Brook arrived that afternoon she discovered that Homar had thrown it up the sock but was still vomiting. It was determined that Homar was in serious distress and need immediate medical attention. Brook took the initiative at my request and immediately took Homar to the emergency veterinarian for treatment. It was later determined that he had ingested two socks but was only able to eliminate one. The other was lodged in his small intestine and blocking anything from passing normally which is a serious life threatening situation. As we were more than 800 miles away on vacation, Brook had to handle all this in our absence and did so sacrificing time from her own family. This selfless act of kindness only shows that Always Happy Tails, and more specifically Brook Dollison are committed to the very best of care for your pets.
